Since my IVA I've not seen money and used my Solo Debit card for all my transactions and up until now (or Monday the 1st in fact) I've had no problem. On Monday I needed to get some fuel so I went to the ATM to draw some cash. The ATM was a Barclays one. I put the card in and instead of asking me for my pin the unit told me the ATM was faulty and promptly ate my card. I was a tad miffed at this as I had no back up funds. I went to my local NatWest to tell them of the problem after ringing Barclays and them telling me it would be a fortnight before the bank got my card back. NatWest were incredible. it was 3.00pm when I got in and they dealt with the matter with some speed. I asked when I could expect a new card and the young lady told me probably 8 Sept 08, next Monday. Yesterday the card was hand delivered to me from the Leeds Office (over 60 miles away) complete and ready to use. I've been with NatWest since March, and I get this sort of treatment. I was with Barclays for 30 years and I was just a number.

That's great Ray, I've got my business account with Natwest and they've always been great and the staff in the branch are lovely. X

That's great service Ray.

I couldn't got with them as they were one of my creditors.

It surprised me having my card delivered by hand from Leeds. As I said its over 60 miles away. When I rang my bank to thank them it was the first they knew about it. Nice to find somewhere you aren't a number
