Hi all

Has anyone had any experience of the above?

I'm considering taking it out to cover our Boiler so would love to hear any good or bad stories?

Thanks

I have found the home care service from British Gas excellent!
We have had issues with our boiler and they always come out to us the same day as I have informed them my partner has Crohns Disease.I have had this insurance for 10 Years and they have never let me down!(touch wood!!)

Mum and Dad have this and can't fault them. Always out asap and very friendly repair people.

We have a local plumber that does ours - he is brilliant and comes out whenever we call him - even when he is having a drink at the local pub with this family.

Thanks all - good to know people have had good experience with them.

We've signed up and had to have a man out straight away on their Repair & Cover option as the boiler was playing up.

There is the £99 excess to pay but rather brilliantly they allow you to be invoiced for that instead of paying for it at the time so you have 21 days to pay that invoice which is a relief when you have a boiler emergency as these things never happen near pay day do they?

Repair man was very nice and touch wood boiler working ok today (keeping everything crossed)

So far so good British Gas [:)]

Think I'll have to consider British Gas with all these good comments. x

I can add to the good comments. The servicing carried out annually is worth the monthly fee alone.

I agree Paul. I like knowing that the boiler is serviced regularly as I worry about gas and carbon monoxide. We've got a monitor with an alarm but I still want the boiler serviced!

I never put my real phone number unless I really want to take out a policy. I always use 01234 567890!

I know Skippy I don't usually but I was busy baking and cooking (get me) and just thought I'd get a quote. To be fair they've not rung back and if they do I'll explain I don't want any more calls and if I decide to proceed I'll contact them. x
