Nice one! That's great news NSBS. You can start to move forward now, get moved in your new home and get settled. Congratulations!
It's nice to be back......

Thanks again Chris.

I feel better already. The 'weight off your shoulders' comment really does seem to be true in my case. And people think moving house is stressful. It'll be a breeze compared to what we've been through!

NSBS, can I just say to make sure you get a receipt from the mortgage providers when you hand back your house. Halifax 'lost' the keys and forms when we handed ours back until I told them that we had a receipt. Contact your local council aswell and get the house on a class Q excemption so you're no longer held responsible for the C/Tax.(just incase you didn't know)

Thanks Chris, you're a star.I wasn't aware of this at all.

The OR said she would contact our mortgage company and inform them of the situation and advised us to do the same, which I'm going to do sometime next week.

I'll also ask for that council tax exemption form (when they are back at work!)

Once again the forum offers invaluable information [:)]

Good luck NSBS, I hope everything works out for you. Hope the house move goes ok and your BR runs smoothly.
