Julie have you heard of the poem Footprints, when my sister lost her baby a few years ago , her baby was stillborn , this poem gave her some comfort.

Bless you all - how sad yet apt is that poem? I'm logging on here and getting so much comfort from you all, thank you so much.

I'm trying to pluck the courage to phone hospital as I have to go in for a check up, just don't know if i can face it yet. For some reason they have the unit in the maternity ward, so you get to see proud parents too.
I wouldn't wish this heartbreak on anyone, I wish there was more thought into planning where the scanning rooms etc are though, as Alun says its like being the loser on a gameshow "look at what you could have won" type of thing. [:(]

That's awful Julie. Please don't put off the check up though, you need to look after yourself. Lots of love to you and Alun xxx

SwansGirl, That was the poem i was telling you about . Well done admin.I bought my sister a card with the poem on when she lost her baby at 31 weeks. I hope it brings you some comfort at this time .I cant personally begin to understand how you and your hubby are feeling at the moment, but with the support of family and friends you will get through this i promise. Thinking of you Rachel and Darren x

Hi Julie,

That's terrible for you ,having to go back to the Maternity Ward, seeing all the other Mum and Dad's while you're having your check-up. Hope all goes ok for you though with your check-up tomorrow and hope it's not too stressful for you.

Take Care.
