I sent my documents off to Melanie yesterday, by Interlink. Just checked the site to check that it got there ok and it says "parcel held", last updated at 8.00am this morning. I'm a bit worried now.
What happens if this parcel gets lost?
Carl.

It wont get lost, and I think held just means its not there yet.

You did copy everything though, right???

Hi Dav,

I should think it simply means it has travelled from your local office to the local office of the recipient and will probably be delivered tomorrow.

It's supposed to be a next day service. I've checked the postcode on the receipt and it is correct. Probably worrying over nothing but that's my nature!

I worked at Interlink a few years ago and I believe they still use the Saturn system which would have shown your parcel as `being out for delivery`if it was on the van, parcel `held` usually means that it has been held at either the depot it first went to(collection) or even the depot it was supposed to be delivered from.
But it might have changed since although I do know that at Parcelforce it means exactly that parcel held at depot.
Just a thought why didn`t you send it by Royal Mail Special Delivery it wouldn`t have cost as much for a start and it`s about the only reliable service RM does now.
I`d ring Interlink up and query it if I was you.

I sent it Interlink cos we use them at work and it didn't actually cost me anything. We don't usually have a problem with them. Sod's law that there should be a problem with this one! I'll check again tomorrow when back at work.

Hi stressed.
I'm sure it will be fine. The post is probably more reliable than Interlink anyway.
I'm a born worrier so I have to check these things out and always fear the worst if things are not quite right. Right now I'm trying hard not to convince myself that my IVA will not be accepted.
