Hi all,

I've been with the NHS few 20+ years and am now one of those 'suits'... Have good access to all info on NHS employment though, T&C's, AfC etc which might be of help to some.....Background in psych, so always willing to participate in 'insight' discussions and the delights of CPA!!!

Other than that I can talk endlessly about F1, have developed a passionate detestation of finance houses lending irresponsibly and think about May 2011 whenever I can't get to sleep.... works well for me...

Hiyall,
I am a Nurse (RGN) for over 20 years and then re-trained 10 years ago to be a Social Worker - Adults!
Have not read all these postings yet so not sure how many SW's on site.... eeek!

I work full time but my 'MAIN job' (lols) and 'area of expertise' was [after being left a young widow] bringing up 3 strong health kids on my own ..... now each fully adult and flown the nest ... but not all quite fully flying solo - lols!

My other interest is 'angel therapy'!! Now that's where it really gets interesting!!

Hi

I'm an Examinations Officer of Higher Education. Not sure that it would be of use to anyone but before that I worked in banking for 9 years and prior to that I was a Nursery Nurse.

My party trick makes me very popular at parties when the bottle opener goes missing cause I open beer bottles with my teeth. (Sorry Kerri I know that will make you shout Nooooooooo!)

Dee

PS my hubbie is a chimney liner

I work for an Insolvency Pratitioner. I dont have a job title as i do so many differant things in the business, i deal with businesses and individuals, and as soon as they try to give me a title they realise it does not fit what I do.

Love the job love the people. It runs my life and I love it.

Some may say sado, me there is no job like it!!!!!!!!!!!!, in fact i dont think it is a job, its a life style

My partner is a nurse who works for the local NHS Trust, her ward is care of the elderly, i admire you for the work you do. I deal with money which at the end of the day is insignificant when it comes to the real thing, life and the ability to deal with it and death with dignity

Hi

I too am a mental health nurse (I count that as 4 of us now!). I work in A&E department as well as home treatment team.

Recently the stress of dealing with my financial difficulties has led to many sleepless nights, and anxiety however coming into work really puts things into perspective when working with people acutely unwell.
