Ours are both there, I did my one and only check last week. Hubbies is hidden amongst others of the same name, but mine is all on its own!

It was a week and 2 days for mine, so if you check tomorrow you may find yours is there, your meeting was a week after mine.

Wait till you start getting the post arriving

Within 2 weeks of being on, we were spammed by IVA council, some other bankruptcy company and IVA Protect

Barb, a bit late replying to yours - I went to bed! I never thought of looking at it like that. Skint List isn't quite the same but at least we can have a laugh about it!

As to the phone calls Endsmeet - are you still in the directory? If so, that would explain your calls as they only have to check on 192. We are ex directory, so I will be surprised if we get any (and not very pleased either!)

One week after being on the list we have not had any letters - I am sure they will arrive soon!

Funnily enough, I haven't had many letters. Only about 3 and 1 from a DCA saying that they've bought my debt from whoever (can't remember now[:I])and that one I just forwarded to my I.P. while the rest went into the bin.

I am ex directory and have been for a long time before my IVA started, I never give the number out and even have a spare sim card which the number is given out to any 'dubious' places which appear on Quidco and the like, I've even disabled the voice mail function so it just says 'the person you are calling is not available....'

The only people that should have my house number are my friends, family and all of the credit card company's and banks that I dealt with pre IVA

Almost every day for the past few months (even weekends), the phone rings at 4pm and when I answer its the 'click' 'click' of a call centre and then I just hang up.

I did answer once and they asked for me, I neither confirmed or denied it was me, I just asked who was calling.
They just repeated the question 'can I speak to whoever please'
So I just hung up, so God only knows where they've got my number from[:(!]

I couldn't believe it when they rang the other day at half time during the Liverpool/Chelsea semi final 2nd leg at 9pm, trying to catch me out at a different time, I am a red and it was bad enough anyway, I mean, come on and play fair[}:)]

The other day a company rang for my eldest son who incidentally hasn't lived at home for at least 3 yrs! I said I'm sorry he doesn't live here any longer and they said, what address am I ringing! I said you know which phone number you're ringing as you dialled it, why do you need the address and they said to confirm that had the correct phone number! I tried to explain he did live with us previous but went off to Manchester in 2005 etc., she just kept saying can you confirm your address and I said no I was not prepared to do this, didn't catch what she said prior to her hanging up!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

X Directory, on the MPS and TPS registers but they still pester the heck out of you.

Because I am on the IVA register does NOT give them the right to write to me. That is why I AM MPS Registered. These companies are flouting the law
