hi ian and welcome!

i am not an expert but had our iva accepted on 28th april, our ip is melanie giles, from philip gill & co, i can only speak from personal experience, but i found them to be first class. she does come very well regarded on this site.

you would probably be best speaking to a few firms and seeing which one you feel comfortable with!

good luck and let us know how you get on!

Welcome from me too Ian. As Barb says melanie is a great Ip you can also get info on companies on iva.com. Ask loads of questions I found it handy to write them down and then I dont forget. The forum is great for support as well and anything you want to ask.

All the best

Ang

Hi ian.s. - Not sure where you have gotten on your quest, but thought you might like to check out the review boards on our web site...if you have not done so already.

Best of luck with it all.

Hi and welcome! I am a very new forum member and I am finding the support, friendship, advice and camaradarie on here really wonderful; it is SO important to not feel isolated and alone when going through all of this. I'm 5 months into my IVA with Debt Free Direct; they are ok but with hindsight and further knowledge I think I would probably have gone for a smaller company with more of a personal touch.....[:)]

Keep on posting octavia. I don't know what I would have done without this forum. It's pointed me in the right direction and kept me sane. Good luck with your IVA. Viki X
