I am currently two years into an iva, i work part time and am a student at the same time. My iva review is asking me for my income which I am happy to provide. However, do I have to declare the student grant/loan as well, or just my employment income. Hoping someone can help.

I would tell your IP that you are in receipt of student loan monies, but this will not be included in your disposable income figure as the money should be used to fund your studies.

My IP wouldn;t let me include my student loan as debt, so I guess it should work the other way and they shouldn't count it as income...only fair!!

Yes I thought that would be the case, but my maintenance grant is another thing! Because I am bringing up my son alone I get a decent maintenance grant to help with expenses of studying at degree level. I just dread the thought of them taking half of it away - dont know how I would cope !
