Well after the letter from Clarke Willmott on Saturday and United losing to City yesterday I thought things would start to look up. Oh how wrong can a girl be?! I woke up this morning feeling really sick (no, I'm not pregnant!) so I phoned in sick to work. I've had earache all weekend so I took myself off to the doctors for that and I've got a mild ear infection. To add insult to injury when I was putting my boots on to go to the doctors I pulled something in my back!

Just as I thought that things couldn't get any worse, I opened the paper and there was a picture of a Vauxhall Corsa identical to mine that had spontaneously combusted! Vauxhall have admitted there is a problem and they will be recalling 200,000 cars, which will be the second recall for mine. Oh well, I suppose I might have the car park at home all to myself!

Finally, just to finish the day off (I hope!), Dave phoned and said that the people he is buying the maisonette from want to move in a week!!! I can't see it happening (I hope!) - they haven't even exchanged contracts yet!

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Aww Skip, you poor thing.

My car was recalled due to brakes failure but it is fine now. It really used to scare me, just the thought of it and I was living on my brakes, even in my sleep, just in case.

The people who are buying the masonette arent going to have the best news either are they? A dogs chance and no chance spring to mind.

All I can say is that things can always be worse, even though it might not feel like it at the moment. Just take care of yourself, rest and dream of better days ahead in your new debt free life.

Love

Hey skip

Dont worry about moaning, I have to face two buses today to get my car as I had a drink at the family BBQ on Saturday. Well quite a few drinks, too many drinks. I am fine, thanks for asking, take care.

Glad you had a good time Lily!

Glad I made you laugh Coco! I have been known to throw the odd tantrum, and Dave then laughs at me, which makes me worse!

I'm feeling much better thanks - my appetite has returned with a vengeance!

You're welcome - I sent Dave a couple as well and he looked at me as if I'd gone mad!
