Ray ... thinking of you mate.

We couldn't do without you ... your sharp wit, your humour ... the most invaluable help and advice and support you give to others.

Hang on in there mate ... keep those jokes coming [:)]

Hi Ray.
The other night I was feeling quite low and I sat here very late at night with my pint of beer, just reading some of the post and your comments made my night it was better than the Comedy Store.
I went into work the following day which is very miserable place to work and colleagues asked why I kept laughing/giggling, I replied I was laughing at something my friend Ray said last night, That’s you, so good luck friend.

RAY, SNAP!!!

Maybe it's the weather???

I too feel very disenchanted.........

I also have had to make a huge effort to log on here the last couple of days. Can't explain what it is? I do genuinely want to support people, but feel I can't at the moment.

Viki - my email stands though [;)] It would probably be more therapy for me lol!

So Ray, if your reading this then as soon as you find something to make you feel a bit more pukka can you give me a clue and help me out!

Oh Marie, hope you're feeling ok hun. I'm also having a cr**py time at the minute...keep thinking it can't get any worse then it does....I keep smiling though, got to or I'd cry and never stop....lol
Gotta be something in all this rain we've had, no wonder they call it 'miserable weather'.....

Ray

You dont have to go, we all feel useless sometimes, I know this will pass. Please dont go, I love your wit and you come across so well here. You are not what you feel, these are feelings and youre very much valued. The sun will shine of your life again, I never thought it would ever come for me but it did.

Youre feeling very low at the moment, thats just the negative feelings, could be an imbalance of chemicals in your brain, you could talk to your GP about how youre feeling, may be then you can be helped to correct this and you will feel less negative, with all you have had to go through, its not suprising. Believe me youre very valuable here. I really mean that.

Please take care of yourself.

Love and hugs
LILY

Ode To A Forum
With Apologies to Marie Lehmkuhl
Who wrote the original

One day I decided to get on the net,
I thought a Forum would be my best bet.
I saw names and words come up from where I knew not.
I soon took a chance and had a nice thought,
Could I do this, it looked really neat.
I saw names on the screen that started with sweet,
sweet smiles, Ladyh, and Chris.g were there too,
And then I saw it, "Oh, yes, we're talking to you,
come on in and chat for awhile. "
And when I did I started to smile.
I saw Kazzy and Viki and soon I was friends
with quite a few people by the days end.
And after awhile they called me their friend.
Sometimes I come in and my friends are not there,
But I'll go back again because I know that they care.
Some live in the UK and some do not,

But they always know when I need to talk.
I am so glad I took the leap and went into the
Forum where friends are so neat.

I'd have used more names but they didn't scan [:D][:D]
When I was young I was called a rugged individualist
When I was in my fifties I was considered eccentric
Here I am doing and saying the same things I did back then and now I'm labelled senile
