Using tax credits as a form of income is not evidence of mis selling an IVA.
Tax credit is a source of income that needs to be taken into account when calcluating how much you can afford to pay, as is all your expenditure.
There are many companies out there making such allegations claims against IP's in order to sell
services such as bankruptcy.

If you are concerned about your IVA contact your IP, they are regulated and have statutory and regulatory duties to give you appropriate advice. They can discuss any concerns that you have.

Perhaps the IVA council is rearing it's ugly head again?

My hubby is on benefit as well as his private pension, and these were just taken into account as income, which is what it is.

I would be interested to know who it is as well.

Gavin, I would just send that letter to your ip and ignore it.

Probably Chris. Mind you, I did have a letter once from some firm called Xit Debt who were the same sort of firm. There's quite a few of them out there.

As you say, the dust has settled, they're trying it on again.

Hi All,
I ag - it sounds like the letters are about to go round again, or maybe they will just target new people on the register??!! If I get any more they will be sent straight to my IP/Company, which is what I suggest gavinf does.
Hope everyone is well,
hugs,

When will the mindless drivel spouted by "bankruptcy assist" companies ever stop?

You can tell a company to stop doing it and that company will reform as another who will carry on doing the same. A right royal pain in the a**e!!!

Yes, once they realise that there is big money to be made by exploiting those who are vulnerable, there's no stopping them!
