I had problems a few years ago with HFC.

I was behind in my payments and kept getting calls from this one particular bloke in the branch. He would never tell my hubby what his name was, or where he was calling from. Fortunately OH isn't the jealous sort, and he knew of my problems so knew who it was.

This bloke even phoned me at work, and when I refused to walk down to the branch to talk to them as I only had 45 minute lunch break and 20 of those would have been walking there, and 20 back, he accused me of not taking my debt seriously. I had a screaming row with him on the phone with the rest of the office watching in stunned silence!!!!!!!!!!!

We decided enough was enough, and wrote to head office. We received a letter of apology and never heard from this bloke again!

Like you Kallis, I had a similar call recently from horrible guy on behalf of Halifax. I explained about the IVA and he said I wasn't taking my debt seriously and didn't care. I had told him that I was selling my restaurant that I had had for nearly 9 years to repay my debts the best I could, how is that NOT caring?!

Viki, I don't know how these people can sleep at night when they make comments like that.

I wonder how many of the will end up in the same position as us?
