Hey Kerrie, you need to go through your income and expenditure with Melanie to see what you can afford. Was there any particular reason why you entered a DMP? X

As an IVA is based on what your budget can afford, you need to speak to a professional directly.

I would suggest that you get professional advice, whether from Melanie or not, as soon as possible.

You have 3rd party debts, and a charging order that can't go into an IVA.

Also, why are the other debts not in your DMP?

yes its a shame about the hsc as this can`t be included into the iva now. I am not to sure how it works with the family as for voting but a good thing is the amount of creditors and the figures as in not owing one creditor a vast amount i hope it goes well for you keep us posted you are going to a good practice melanie and her team are highly recommended[:)]

Hiya Kerrie

I dont know how you ended up in a DMP with 52K worth of debt, surely, like you say it would take forever to clear.

I dont think that you would be able to include the money you owe to your family in an IVA, you could put them down but they would be asked to stand aside (someone correct me if I am wrong).

We all feel that horrible black cloud over us or have felt like that but youre trying to do something about it and that takes some guts.

I really hope that Melanie can help you but even if she cant there is an answer to every problem, sometimes one we dont always like to hear but its there, somewhere we just have to find it.

Youre amongst friends here on the forum and I hope you can begin to feel a little better soon.

best of luck.

I believe that the family loans can be included but will be treated the same as other creditors.ie not get the full amount back( unless of course you were paying back 100p/£). You may also need proof that these family loans exist, this isnt always easy to get.

good luck.
