Hi

Can anyone advise me, am with BT but am moving home shortly (renting) and do not have a BT line where I am moving to, do Virgin Media offer services to people in an IVA or are they refused?

Thanks.

Hi Dorset
I may be wrong in this but I am sure that the phone is classed as an utility and as such is viewed differently to 'Credit'. It would be worth ringing them on ... 0845 840 7777.

When I was young I was called a rugged individualist
When I was in my fifties I was considered eccentric
Here I am doing and saying the same things I did back then and now I'm labelled senile

If and when you go to virgin media i havent had a problem.... just to warn like mobile contracts they like to have around 2 months payments on your 1st bill etc! been with them for 6 years even when i couldnt pay them after a dd mistake they allowed me to pay some of the debt and keep the services and i did this for a year lol!!
Life is one big challenge so what are you going to give me today!?

I have been with them for years and though I dont like their billing procedure of charging upfront, I have had little problem with the service over the last 15 years, as they were previously birmingham cable and then telewest.

Yeurgghhhh, Telewest!!! Awful firm, I'd rather write letters than use a cable firm!

(Skippy gets crucifix and garlic at the mere thought!)

We dont have a choice we arent allowed satellite dishes on the houses or aerials of any kind outside.
Didnt you work for them once upon a time skippy.
Its just the bils that are illedgible and you need a degree sometimes to understand them.

I used to work in customer services for them, telephone and face to face. I was shouted at andphysically threatened by customers and accused of stealing by my manager! Add to that I couldn't understand the bills and the service was rubbish (it's still not digital in our area!) and that's why I hate them!
