I am just starting a IVA this month, after years of trying to pay back masive credit card and loan debts. With the added intrest and low income I was recieving it was a case of walking against the wind, I was just getting no where. Of course because my out-goings was going on paying the debt and rent i could never afford to get a mortage. With house prices in the U.K now most likely out of my reach could I with an IVA move to Australia and pay the IVA from there.

Hi jtr

Yes I already have one client who lives in Australia, and sends his payments electronically. There is no problem with this, so long as you diligently answer all correspondence and requests for information from your Supervisor on a timely basis.

Yes you can. You will need to work out your income / expenditure to make sure that you can still make the required payments. You will also need to budget in the cost of transfering money from Australian Dollars to UK pounds. Speak to your IP about your options.
