Well ive had Morgan Stanley (owe £2000) ring me for about the millionth time. Ive have told various people in their company my situation loads of times, they dont understand the word no at all. Anyway last time i spoke to them I told them NOT to call me at work again!!! and lo and behold they left a message with one of my colleagues.

Then they ring me again this morning, and I was feeling really brave (for a change) answered very politely , he said it was so and so from the company, had the cheek to ask if I had spoken to anyone from the company ( i replied yes on several occassions, i have explained my situation to each one of them, please do not call me again, goodbye') so then i hung up and they rang AGAIN, i didnt even answer.

Capital one i told of my situation before i even owed them and got a reply from them saying 'thank you for letting us know about your situation, we will pass the info on to the relevant dept' and yet they KEEP ringing me.

Talk about stressing!!!!!![:(]

morgan stanley are on of my creditors and i have had many a nasty call from them, i had one were they transferred me to the supervisor after i had given all my details she was so nasty and i informed her that i was no longer going to speak to her and was putting the phone down she told me that i wasn't to do that, i said don't tell me what to do i have given all the information i can and i can't pay a token payment, eventually i put the phone down and she rang me back twice on the 2nd call my husband answered it and told her that she wouldn't be speaking to me again given her attitude, the calls stopepd for about 2 weeks and when they phone now and if i answer it i always say you aren't going to be rude to me are you like such and such supervisor and i now find them very friendly and helpful, obviously the calls aren't nice anyway but they are not as frequent as when they firts started with morgan stanley

Baz sorry about the phone calls, they are so annoying. When I was in the process of waiting for my IVA to be approved, I found Halifax to be the worst. They kept on ringing me everyday and even threatened me with the bailiffs. I just informed them to send the bailiffs then, as long as it stops them calling me. In the end I would just answer the calls from the creditors and when they asked to speak with me (even if they called my mobile) I woudl politely inform them that she was not in and could they leave a message. I did this until they actually gave up as they could not get hold of me. It is the most annoying thing. I am shocked thaty they would leave a message with your colleague at work though Baz, I would write a letter of complaint about confidentiality and the Data Protection Act.

Hopefully that will soon stop once your IVA has been approved

my favourite trick now is to leave my all in one printer on, so after 5 rings it goes to fax machine and they have that ringing in their ears instead they soon hang up
