Hi, All, Hope we are all in a good place

Well folks, I did it today and the judge awarded the petition for Br , but low and behold there was a sting in the tail. I was taken to an office for the Or call, after talking through all my debt I asked if they would be contacting my landlord of which they said "Yes" of which after 3 to 4 calls to the insolvency service before my Br they stated that would not happen if I had My tenancy agreement. I have called my Or today and it may be possible if I can send my agreement and some statements of proof of good payments I may be ok. But I dont feel comfortable as my landlords are prim and proper and quick to judge.

Ok folks :-)

We will all get to our pure happiness.

Neil

In my experience the OR will always contact your landlord, and I feel sure that I advised this on one of your earlier posts Neil.

Your landlords may be prim and proper, but at the end of the day they will not want a vacant property which is providing them no yield, so if you already have a good payment record, this can only be better when you have no debts to worry about. You would appear therefore to be the perfect tenant!!

I'm glad you've got that part over and done with Neil.

I have heard of situations where the OR doesn't contact your landlord so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Hi, Melanie

Thanks for advice, I posted a topic on this before my Br and I`ve just checked and you did`nt post a response, but no worries. Unless you gave the advice on a similar post for another member.
But hopefully if I send copy of tenancy agreement and any need bank statements it will avoid the Or conacting them. They are nice landlords and we have been goods tenants, but I cant help feeling that knowledge of our Br will be a problem.

Thanks

Neil

As I have previously posted, my OR did not contact my landlord since I gave her the tenancy agreement during the interview.
