Hi Guys, Just heard from Freeman Jones that our IVA has been accepted. Can't tell you how I feel, burst into tears while on the phone to them. The relief from pressure is immense. Egg tried to get us to up our payment by £40 per month because they said that our electric payments are too high. I said to my IP that they were high because of the increase in fuel costs. She went back to them and told them this and they backed down.

I would like to thank everybody on this forum for all your words of encouragement. Don't know what I would have done without you all. As my journey with an IVA progresses I hopefully will be able to offer the same support.[:D]

Still in shock, I want to party, party, party but can't afford to! But in 60 months time I am going to really let my hair down with an end of IVA party. Just can't believe we will be debt free in 5 years, that must be an awesome feeling.

Congratulations to you.

5 years will fly by and you will be able to enjoy life once again.

Congrats! This is what going into an IVA should be all about. Best of luck.
