Hi All
I have received my proposal from Accuma and my creditiors meeting has been set for the 15th June at 10:00. I wont be attending as it is in Manchester and cant afford to go all that way so will be on the end of the phone waiting for the outcome.
Just to let you know my state of affairs.
I will owe £32,743 broken down as follows.
Secured debt of £2987 which will be paid off in approx 15 months.
Unsecured debt
EGG loan £14,535 and Egg Card £1,693
Citi Financial Loan £1,603
Barclaycard £3,302
Halifax Credit Card £4,894
Capital One Credit Card £1,295
Style Finanical Services £1,035
HFC Bank loan £1,399
I am offering to pay £261 pounds for 15 months until secured loan paid off then £460 for 45 mounths. What do you think of this proposal?
I think the return is about 52p in the pound not to sure if this is before or after IP fees but looks good compared to the 3p in the pound they would get back if I was to go bankrupt. Now date has been set I am starting to get a bit nervous so I think I will be posting here a lot up till then.

Hi Melanie
No property as I dont own a home. The secured loan is a log book loan against my car. Once this is complete the money from this goes into IVA.

Adam

Then your IVA proposal looks fine to me - and most of those creditors are generally supporting to these procedures.

Thanks Melanie
Looking at the figures Egg will have the biggest say in things but from the posts I have read most people seem to have got Egg to accept so fingers crossed all will be fine for the 15th. I am glad it is at 10 O'Clock in the morning as I dont think I could wait around all day for the outcome. Just one more question. The Halifax rang yesterday (Sunday) saying they did not have the proposal and could I fax it to them should I do this or should I contact the IP office and ask them to do it?
Thanks and regards
Adam

Hi Adam,

Glad to hear you have received a meeting date!! In cases that I have seen Egg are quite receptive to IVA's especially when the return is as good as the one you are presenting.

Also I would get your I.P to send/fax any documentation needed as they are now working on your behalf with the creditors.

Best Regards. IVA Experts

Hi Marie
All the best for your meeting and to anyone else who has there meeting coming up in the future.
How has the nerves been so far Marie? Its not been to be bad for me. Also have you had many calls from the creditiors? Mine have been really good and laid off for weeks now so hoping that is a good sign.
Adam

Hi All
Thanks you for your support.
Looking forward to Friday with a little bit of dread but mainly hope that my debt problem. could finally start to be put under control. Just a quick question.
I received a letter yesterday from Mercers Debt Collections who work for Barclaycard and their letter states that they have received advice that I am to enter into a voluntary arrangement and I am to destroy/return all cards. Do you think this is a good sign of Barclaycards acceptance? Hope so.
Thanks Again.
Regards
Adam
