The meeting went well . Only had to increase hubbies iva payment by £30 . Natwest his biggest creditor wanted the increase, my payment was reduced slightly . Our original payment to both ivas was going to be £400 . After meeting our payment is now £408 per mth. So everything worked out well . So grateful to everyone on this site, dont know how ive got through the last few weeks , but i have and i can now start on my debt free future.

No i dont know really how my payment went down by £22 either . On the original paperwork sent to me my iva payment was £182 per month. After the phonecall on my meeting day i was told its £160 per month !!!!!!
Rang back Clearstart today and they said that £160 is the correct payment. They did have to reduce their fees and my hubbies payment went up to £248 because Natewest wanted an increase of £30 per mth. As Natwest was his biggest creditor we accepted the increase and were advised by Clearstart that one of our creditors may want extra .

Hi Rachael
So did you and hubby open a bottle last nite to celebrate. We did - Tesco's finest house red. How do you feel now? We feel like the weight has been lifted considerably ( god don't you just love cliches) But seriously we know there is along way to go but it does help being able to post on here and knowing that noone is lurking to judge or condemn.
