Hi thanks so much for all the support over the past long four months!

Today our IVA's were accepted, standard modifications, the only one I have thought long and hard over is the £50 increase in payment.

Worked it through with hubby and have decided we can manage. kandh has been a godsend on msn talking to me in the weeks leading up to this and a big thank you to her today for keeping me sane! I don't know who voted how yet but when I do find out I will post for you.

Good luck to everyone else who has their meeting pending and if I'm waffling and not making any sense it's because I'm relieved and so excited at the thought of my debt free future.

Thanks once again from the bottom of my heart. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Forgot to add, another success for Melanie and her fantastic team! Huge praise goes to them.

I would also like to thank Tony Parsons (Welsh Boy) visited us at home and supported us through this too. Remortgaged to interest only in a matter of a few weeks. Thank you Tony!

Brilliant news. Good luck for the next 5 years and your debt from future.
It seems to be standard now where creditors ask for more money. I had a modification increase of 60.00 per month, this was requested by TIX.
Anyway best wishes and have a lovely evening

Well done, congratulations. I too had a £60 increase - as caraf says, they do seem to be trying to squeeze more out of the creditors now, which is fine, we should be paying them back as much as we can - but not if that means we are eating bread and water for 5 years!

thanks to all for your best wishes, would you believe I am tee-total Debbie! Never touched a drop in my life! how sad is that! Good job I don't go out much, I won't miss it now will I? I'm only just coming down to be fair and did treat myself tonight to some chips from the chippy to go with our home made curry and bought some crisps and chocolate from aldi! Oh I'm a woman that knows how to live ! I'll post the details of who voted how when I get them, I'm assuming I get them through the post at some point?
