i and my wife have taken out a joint iva proposal, creditors meeting 3rd september...
our creditors meantime continue to send letters and phone doing anything possible to get us to pay money to them and added charges.
We had an odd letter from hsbc demanding that we send our cards, cheque books etc. (that we dont use anymore) back within 7 days. Followed by another letter that i had to sign for today containing....wait for it.......a brand new debt card from hsbc.[:o)]

iva agreed! meeting on the monday 3rd, didnt have a definate until wednesday and still waiting for written confirmation/details.
I do know all but the student loans company voted yes (had differed loan from my teacher training days).
received letter dated 7th from mbna demanding money, 4 days after creditors meeting!
Will be happy when eveything sorted and in ink, was told by IP that they were sorting the fine print and there was a backlog because of the number of IVAs in the area.

Hi asmith,

Congratulations on getting your IVA approved. Great news!

Now that you are there would you consider posting a review of your IVA firm at www.IVA.com? This could help others considering an IVA to make the right choices for them.

Kind regards,
Terry Balfour
