I am so overwhelmed, amazed and overjoyed, after what has seemed like an eternity, a never ending road to get here, we have had our IVA accepted with NO MODIFICATIONS!!!

I am stunned if I am honest, I don't think it has sunk in yet, I still can't believe it, I honestly thought we would have had an uplift of some sort or it would have been rejected. Even after reading everyone elses journeys over the last few months still made think deep down that we wouldn't be that lucky and we would still be saddled with this debt for the rest of our lives.

I can now see an end to this, we have that glimmer of hope of buckling down for the next 5 years and then being set free from this noose which has been around our necks for so long.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Melanie Giles, Claire and Tina for keeping me sane and to everyone on here including Jan, Lesley, Kat, BOL, Judo, Karin, MrsKnight, Rosepetal for all your advice and support over this horrendous period in our lives.

WE'VE DONE IT!!!!!!

All those debt collector threats and solicitors letters are now going in the bin!

Lem, I've got your email and replied but just had to risk coming on the forum at work to say a big well done. You've done it, you've put up with the creditors, we've given you the support. Another great result for Melanie.

Once things calm down Lem, why not start a blog as you've had a long journey that WILL help others.

Again celebrate and enjoy the feeling, those creditors can't get you down anymore!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
