Best of luck with the offer, and let's hope they are able to present it to creditors soon for you.

Just had some more paperwork come through today with regards to PPI. I have been requested to sign a Deed of Assignment to allow my creditors to collect any PPI which is awarded to me after closing my IVA. I'm happy to sign it as I don't think I have any PPI claim to make anyway and just want the IVA to be finished with asap!! It needs to be witnessed by somebody though which is the first correspondence I have had from DFD like this. Is this normal?

Sensible approach as this will not hold up your closure when your F&F is accepted on the 6 November - not long to wait now and you will be debt free - good luck !

Hi Jerry, I imagine it is a deed that DFD wish to be effective for a period in excess of 7 years, and therefore needs to be witnessed.

Yes - the deed is an important document, as it gives proprietory rights to an asset which you are the current trustee of, and your signature therefore does need to be witnessed.
