I'm afraid that all GT clients are in the same boat at the moment. I think that you will all be in the same boat at the moment.

I am due for an update 25 Jan "Watch this space" whos betting I have to contact GT !!!. I think it is this PPI stuff. We have completed our forms and sent them onto the PPI company so we will see. Surely with all these people waiting for completion you would think that at least they would let everyone know the reasons for such a long wait. Looking at the forum there are lots of you that have been waiting a year. One consolation is that you are not on your own. What can we do? except wait.

Good news. After emailing them a few times this year I've finally received my closure certificate, dated 18th Jan. So 9 months after my final payment! So that makes it 6 years since I took out the IVA in April, which is good news!

Well done Paddy. Well I had a call from the PPI people yesterday and GT sent an email to say that our closure would take longer as they are looking into any further monies. This is most likely the ppi but now they have contacted us maybe we will see closure in the next 2 months. Let hope.

I called our PPI company the other day and asked how much longer they will take to report back to GT. They said it could take up to 6 months. We started our IVA in June 2006 and paid a full and final settlement in April 2012 so looks as if it could be going on for 7 years since the start. I am sick of it but our hands are tied. I hope that by the end of 2013 that we will have our completion certificate. So for anyone that is also fed up with it - there are other people like myself out there suffering.....
