On 3rd October my IVA (Full and Final) was approved!!!!

79% voted for the proposal and 21% against.

Barclaycard, Beneficial Bank PLC, Halifax PLC, Lloyds Bank TSB and Max Recovery (MBNA) all voted for the proposal.

Egg PLC and Yorkshire Bank PLC voted against.

American Express did not vote.

So, in the end I got the new start that I needed for and am extremely grateful to those who drafted up my proposal, supported me on this forum and also voted in favour of a clean slate for me and my family.

Well done Churchill [:D] its a great feeling!

Max Recovery also bought my MBNA debt just a week before the Creditors meeting and then voted yes for 25p/£. My thanks to them and I hope MBNA sell all their debts to Max Recovery!!
My thanks to Melanie and her team :)

I am extremely grateful to the following who helped me on my IVA approval journey.

IVA.co.uk website – Helped me discover that I should qualify for an iva.

Thomas Charles - Alli Brooklyn (0870 141 7271) – I found Thomas Charles via the iva.co.uk website. Alli collated my financial information and prepared my IVA case before handing over to Wilson Phillips Insolvency Practitioners.

Wilson Phillips - David Bottomley, Insolvency Practitioner (01254 274200) who presented my case and arranged my creditors meetings (Special thanks to Pam and Donna at Wilson Phillips who also helped me)

IVA.co.uk Forum members – Helped me believe and gave me confidence that my iva would be approved. Still had many sleepless nights but any concerns/dilemmas were answered quickly and positively by fellow members. I sincerely hope I can help others like others helped me.
