I think it is good to clear all your debts with F & F settlements especially when you are paying less than the full 60 month duration of the IVA. My only caveat is unless there is a rule change to allow the 'IVA default' to drop off from the credit file at the same time when the FF is accepted people will still be considered as credit troublesome.

Especially now with little risk taking from Banks, one can still not get a visa debitcard post IVA - nevermind a new loan.
