I went to a local shop that cuts car keys, and while they can't do it, they have a man who will go to them. I will have to leave the car with them for a morning and the new key will cost me £60-£70. I can't really afford it, but I need a second key and that's a lot better than Ford!

I thought so Becky. My mum came out with a classic - "I thought my key was expensive. It was £8". She was serious as well!

I couldn't believe it - we came out of Focus after buying the cat repellant and the car had a flat tyre! Dave drove very carefully to the garage down the road and put some air in it for me and we went straight to the local tyre place. Luckily they could repair it as it was a damaged seal, so it only cost £17, but even so, I've only had it 2 days! I think it Harry had stuck his claws in the tyre as revenge for grassing him up to the neighbours!

Sorry to hear that Becky, I hope it's not too expensive. I was lucky as the garage MOT'd my car even though it wasn't due until the end of October. I didn't think they would do it that early so it was a nice surprise!
