					Hi FD,
I am not sure how the funding from your workplace would work but, I am in the middle of a distance learning degree, which my company is funding. There were no financial check just an agreement that completing the course would improve my skills and therefore improve the work I do for them. I need to do a years retun of service once I had fininshed but, that will be worth it fo the qualification I will get. So its worth looking into funding from them, you can always stop at any stage.

Well done to your employers for supporting your studies George. I am doing the same with aproximately 20% of my workforce, as we definately get the benefits of these additional skills over time, as of course do our employees.

Just check, if your employers pay for training you maybe liable to repay the costs if you leave the employment within a certain timescale. Check your contract of employment.

Melanie - investment in people is so important and as you say everyone benefits.
