A friend of mine had a lot of debt from various sometimes unscrupulas companies.

She opted to go for an IVA and pay a small amount.

Looking at some of the previous debt though it seems she may have been duped.

Can you still CCA request the debtors and stop the IVA or does the IVA constitue a new lawfull acknowledgement of the debt ?

This is my first stop to research any help or pointers would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome.

If your friend is in an IVA then all creditors should be bound by this as it is legally binding.

Which company is she with and is it definitely an IVA?

I am sorry but I don't undertand the question. Could you clarify the point you are wanting to ask on behalf of your friend please.
