Pre-nups aren't legally recognised in this country as far as I'm aware.

And on the subject of Kerry Katona, the quickest way to get her life back on track would be to co-operate with her trustee!

I'm not saying I am right, but please can you explain to me what's right about what she is doing? She is failing to co-operate with her trustee, and with all the 'TV work' that she does, surely she must be able to afford to pay her tax bill.

If you are in the public eye, and are famous for doing nothing in particular then you have to be prepared to be knocked. As far as I'm concerned those in the public eye should set a good example to their fans.

And I'm sure plenty of people have knocked me over the years! I've made mistakes, but I've done all I can to put them right.

I totally agree with Andy and Skippy.

As I said previously - we are all entitled to our opinions.

Hi Gavin
It is a fair point that you make regarding celebrities, they can soon be knocked from grace and never really work again. The point that Skippy was making was regarding the way that certain celebs can make bankruptcy seem an easy option

I agree that we do build people up to knock them down in this country, but in most cases the so called celebrities have to take their share of the blame.

I agree with Andy and Skippy.

Celebs such as Kerry Katona do not help themselves by constantly being in the limelight and doing things that the likes of us normal people would not get away with in an IVA or BR.

There are people on this forum who struggle with an IVA or BR. She seems to be doing ok.

We are going to have to agree to disagree on this.

She constantly courts publicity - one way of making money I suppose.

I don't like her and I never will, regardless of whether she is solvent or otherwise.

I don't have a personal opinion of her as I don't know her and would never comment on that, however, Skippy raises a valid point as to they are in the public eye and would appear to continue with the same/similar lifestyle without any change whatsoever, new cars etc., not really what we could do in an IVA or bankruptcy is it?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I have seen her - the weekend she got arrested for assault in Dublin a few years ago.

She was extremely loud, you couldn't help but notice her and she was late for her plane!
