Co-op are well.known for that. I don't think they reckon you should be able to make savings in an IVA.

Pretty ignorant to turn me down without knowing anything about me other than whats on my file, perhaps I am too used to getting credit easily for several years.
Funny though that I dont feel too disheartened by the rejection, may be down to the local credit union returning a dividend of 5 times that which the co op were offering.Still wont get rich on it but then neither will any bank.

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.
We were in a credit union pre IVA and I highly recommend them. I'm hoping that come completion we will be able to start afresh with a new one or pay off what we owe the other! (Apparently that is an option)
They gave money towards funerals and double your savings upon your death to give to next of kin. The dividend is also paid out just before xmas.
