Hi All
Just to give an update on our move to Credit fix from PJG with some good news.
We are now into our 5th year and with lots of fingers crossed (house valuation) our last year.
Our annual review was due on the 1st of September and of course we heard nothing! I found out about the sell off to Credit fix on this forum, was not impressed!
Waited a month then my wife emailed CF and got the standard reply.
Beginning of November rang CF talked to Jaimie who seems to have talked to lots of us and passed us on to Shona.
She very quickly found our details, congratulated us on how well our IVA was performing (i.e. never missed a payment blah blah blah) and apologised for not completing our review. Shona couldn’t find our bank statements (last 6 months) and asked us to email again and she would get onto it.
We sent them that day. Heard nothing!
Now was middle of December, various emails to Shona and no answer at all! Finally emailed Jaimie just before Christmas and got an answer on the 8th of January, we had spelt Shona’s email address incorrectly and she hadn’t received anything (we never had the emails bounce back from CF’s server though hmmm)
Five minutes later an email from Shona apologising and asking for the bank statements again.
Resent bank statements straight away.
One hour later email from Shona agreeing everything on our review statement from August including our uplift regarding wages and that the closure department will be in touch in 2 months’ time!
Asked for the above in writing as all seemed too good to be true, am waiting for the letter.
Have since had an email from Jaimie asking if everything is OK and can he help.
So sorry for the ramble but our experience with CF seems to be once you finally come under the radar they do seem to act very quickly and in our case fairly.
Hope this helps?

That does sound encouraging.

It also follows an emerging theme that whilst very slow to respond and clearly snowed under, they are fundamentally reasonably...

Let's hope we continue to see this kind of post!
One pay-cheque away from oblivion!

They seem to be getting better. I was chasing them last month as wife was due to make last payment on Jan 1st. Payment was made and certificate of completion received dated 9th January. Debt free start to new year and Creditfix helped.

Hope this means that they are getting better and people will have an easier journey with them.

Maybe the intital input of all the cases threw them a little but they're slowly getting things up to date. It's always encouraging to know things are running smoother for our posters.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Wiganwire, do you mind me asking if you were transferred from PJG? I know that myself and at least one other member who have paid our final instalment but we both have yet to hear anything despite chasing. We were also both sent the new t&c to sign this week.

I am really pleased for you and hope there are a few more good news stories re. CF soon.

Good news that you've had answers. I too have had a response to my list of queries, from someone called Teala. Its given me more questions than answers though to be honest. One of the questions I asked was whether I could have a specific contact or case worker as we did with PJG, who would be up to speed on my case but I've been told to forward all questions on to customer services initially who will then allocate my query to the correct department, which will depend on the stage my arrangement is at. Apparently I'm with the client supervision team, but it will move to the closures team 6 months before the end of my arrangement.
I just wish I could cut out the middle man of the customer services team to speed up communication really!
Also, I have not replied to the initial t&cs request that was sent out some time ago, and this has not been mentioned again.

The fact that they send you to the closures team ahead of the final payment is encouraging. They can then get the spade work done early. Many other firms seem to regard the final payment as a complete surprise !!

Well the letter confirming everything came last night so that’s sorted until March when we get the house valued!
It is going to be a close call on value, we have everything crossed !!!

Hope so Wiganwire, I'm not holding my breath.
Really pleased for you though - CF and good news stories are rare here at the moment. Let's hope you're the start of things moving up!
