I had a lump sum IVA 18 months ago. My mum wants to give me the money to buy a house outright. I have lost all the paperwork. I have checked the insolvency register and there is nothing on there for me. Am I free from the IVA and the "windfall clause"?

If you have had your certificate of completion (which you ought to have had by now) then, yes, you are free of the windfall clause.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
