hi in november we approached clearstart who passed us to mccambridge duffy because my husband is self employed ,i filled out all paperwork around 3-4 weeks ago ,we put our house on the market as we need to offer a one off payment and as far as i am aware mccambridge duffy have written to all of our creditors advising them of our intentions ,i am still making small token payments through payplan at the moment until i hear other wise .
i havent heard from anybody though in a while including creditors ,just wondering if anybody can tell me what stage in the process i am at now ,are they just waiting for my house to sell ?
thankyou .

Hi depressed.
I think the best thing to do would be to ring them and ask, really the only way to no for sure at what point things are.

I would agree - you need to speak to MD to ascertain where they are up to.

Have you paid any of them any funds as yet?
If not, you might want to consider how you would feel about dealing with somebody who has demonstrated a clear lack of communication from the outset.
You do need to get answers from someone and the sooner the better. From the sounds of it you are unsure if McCambridge Duffy have even contacted your creditors. Until something is formallised, your debts are only going to keep increasing and whilst they continue to increase, the potential return to creditors from your equity is diminishing.
Tell it like it is.
