possible to enter into a personal loan agreement?

If someone is under an IVA can thy enter into loan agreemetns? from my reading I believe it is not possible to get new credit cards but it is possible to re-mortgage, but is it possible to enter into a personal loan agreement?

Hi Heidi and welcome to the forum

One of the conditions of an IVA is that you do not take any further credit (even if you could find someone prepared to lend you the money) without the permission of your supervisor. This is unlikely to be granted, unless there are very good reasons and the borrowing is in the best interests of your creditors.
