Hi, i had an IVA which in July 2007 an agreement and final settlement figure was agreed and paid. This was 1 year into the IVA
I received the cert to confirm the IVA was closed.
Recently i claimed back my PPI for one of my credit cards and the cheque was made payable to the insolvency company which dealt with my IVA
Is this correct

There is an interesting argument here to say that as the balance owing to your creditors was legally written off when the IVA was closed, then you have no entitlement to the money. But neither does the former supervisor who has ceased to act and has no power to receive money or distribute it any longer. I suggest that the cheque will probably get redrawn in your favour.
