hi all. my work offers the childcare voucher scheme, where you dont pay ni or tax on contributions that go into an account to pay childcare. Obviously this will show on payslip as reduction and the money will be used to pay childcare, as a result i should save money on childcare, not sure how much yet tho. Do you think I will have to inform ip? It wont be a massive amount but seemed sensible thing to do. At min and for the next 6 months at least we are paying arrears to cover missed payment, in the case I would imagine anything I save is just going to be used to counteract the extra Im paying?

Thanks as always for any advicex

Hi there, I would run it by your IP just to keep them in the loop.

Just keep your IP informed. Its a good scheme and can even help with summer holiday clubs etc.

You will need to inform your IP as there is tax relief on these vouchers which will increase your disposable income.
