hi Mas39

Please don't worry - it will be sorted out.
Just a suggestion but if I were you I would make sure that you get everything in writing from both Debtmatters and Grant Thornton.

just to put your mind at rest we have been in an IVA with GT for almost 2 years now with no real problems to speak of and am happy with the level of service that we recieve. To be perfectly honest i don't phone them as I correspond by emailing them and then sending a hard copy in the post (keeping copies for myself) I think it comes from working within a legal background so cover my back at all costs - there is also less room for disputes (if any!)

With regards to the "miscalculation" that they say DM have made - what is that in relation to - may I ask. As at the end of the day you will have your bank statements showing what you have paid to DM and you might like to back that up when you respond to GT with your acknoeldgement slip stating, as Ian says, that as far as you are aware you are not in arrears for X Y and Z reason and demonstrate the evidence if needs be.

I have always found that by demonstrating the evidence to what you are saying to GT goes a long way (particularly when our outgoings were more than our actual incomings) and because we backed it up there wasn't a problem.

i hope you get resolved to help put your mind at rest!

Lou

I suspect that there will be a number of anomalies highlighted as one firm hands over to another. The problem sometimes with different IPs is one of interpretation - and even in my own firm I often have occasional disagreements with my other IP!
