Harry is absolutely gorgeous! He miaowed all the way home in the car but he was very well behaved - no little accidents! When we got him indoors and undid his basket he stepped out slowly and investigated every room (didn't take him long!), had something to eat and fell asleep on the sofa.

I do appreciate that we are now his slaves, but he's definitely worth it!

Admin, when I get some pictures of him can I have him as my avatar? If I can what do I need to do?

Does Dave firmly realise that he is relegated to number two male in your life now Skip?

Well he's out for the count by the radiator at the moment, so I'm hoping he's not nocturnal!

Hi Skip

Really pleased for you, err I have two five month olds and they are most playful at nigt, like a train racing up and down the stairs play fighting, banging onto doors and this morning I heard a crash, a cup and a plate, make sure everything is nailed down. Munchy mostache boy keeps bringing in worms which he is very possessive about.

Hes lovely skip and looks just like one of mine.
My 2 cats still charge round the house at night while we are trying to sleep and they are 6 years old.
The female is a hunter. She brings in birds and mice ALIVE!! and miows as if to say look what i brought for you.
We once rescued a baby bird from in her mouth and kept it in a hamster cage and fed it bread soaked in milk but sadly it died a few days later.
When we were kids, my mums cat brought a sparrow home alive. We kept it in a budgie cage and it lived for years.

One bit of advice......try to not let him sleep with you. My male cat sleeps above my head on my pillow at night and i often wake up with a hat on where hes sprawled across my forehead.

Aww Skippy he's adorable !

Cats can be nocturnal I'm afraid - the summer is the worst because the days get longer and the sun is up earlier. If you can get a cat flap (assuming you don't already have one) then get one when Harry is OK to go outside. My two can be a real pain sometimes - about 4AM by July is normal - they want to go outside and I have to get up and let them out because I have French doors to the back and it's not practical to put a cat flap in there.

That doesn't mean I love them any less though [;)]
