Hi guys ,on 3rd of May I have paid the last payment on my 5 year Iva,few days ago I spoke to one of Ebenegate advisors ask if they going to do final review and they said that my case was already been passed to a closure team and no review is needed, is that normal?I also notice that my IP has been changed as well to Mr Pope from Creditfix and I didn't received any information on that.

From another post of mine on this firm combination :
Excellent article on this over at Debt Camel, where, it seems the Vanguard IVA's have been transferred to Tim Pope, operating out of Ebenegate. The Insolvency Service have Mr Pope listed as being the principal of his own firm, TJP Insolvency, so maybe he has moved, or there are more smoke and mirrors involved.

DCs article can be found here: https://debtcamel.co.uk/vanguard-insolvency-iva-closed/ Well worth a read.

As for a final review; This should be done, but with a different emphasis than previous reviews. Most firms will carry this out by checking your last years income, rather than worrying about ongoing expenses. Then there is often an internal review where the life of the arrangement is revisited, just to dot the i's and cross the t's, although Ebenegate will often dot the t's and cross the i's !

It is so frustrating, feel a bit nervous about all of this going on with them at the moment.

As for the review they won't ask for payslips and bank statements?

They may ask for them - depends on the company, you never know these days.

Most firms would -- to check income in the preceeding 12 months -- but, from what you have said Ebenegate might not. From many posts on here it appears that Ebenegate do not put much faith in actual figures and simply use a review to increase the payment a little, regardless. Of course there is no scope for an increase at the end, so they might well not bother.

Fingers crossed. It seems that CF / Ebenegate do as little work as possible, think Easyjet or Ryanair of the IVA world, which is a liability when the IVA is in progress, but useful when it is to be closed down !
