Thank you
Thank you
Thank you

I am so scared. I have never ever had to say to somebody 'I have spent the money you have borrowed me in good faith and now I can't give it back to you' How rubbish is that?

What a life lesson this is.

I am always worried when I post in case I offend.[:I]

Thanks to everyone xx

You are not alone Marie - there are many people saying the same things to their lenders these days, so chin up and be proud that at least you are doing something about it.

Don't be thinking about that rope Marie, it's more expensive than you think! [:D] You'll defo get it sorted now Melanie is on the case. Let us know what heppens, try and have a good nights sleep and remember we're all in the same boat....all of us (well, except the experts! But they're the ones rowing for us! [:D]) Love Viki X

That rope Marie, dont like the sound of that. Please just post what you are feeling, you will not offend. I know its hard right now but there will be a way forward. You cannot do the rope thing, please. Youre far too precious for that and your OH wouldnt ever know how much you love him.

Take care and keep plodding, I know it seems youre walking through a deep black sludge but sludge makes you stronger and more lovely, you just have to survive it first. There will be a light soon, I promise.

Love

This will get sorted Marie - Melanie will be able to find the answer for you.

As Lily says, just post how you feel - there is always someone here to listen, and even if we don't have the answers you will get loads of support.

I hope you're feeling a bit brighter this morning x

NR are our main creditor, and we have an unsecured loan as well as the mortgage.
When the IVA was going through, we still paid them the loan, as it was lumped in with the mortgage, but they actually refunded this to us when the IVA started, as it was the same time that the loan came out as the IVA starting.
I have to say that NR have been very helpful with us, even when I have spoken to them.
Good luck.
k.

Thank you everyone for being so kind.

I am on a huge low at the moment (I'm sure you have all noticed lol). Sorry to be a miserable soanso.

I will be okay in a few days[:)]

I hope Melanie has managed to have a look for me, oh worked late - AGAIN! So he couldn't ring the office, I'm just trying to concentrate on getting to work putting on my best 'smiling I'm okay' face and getting home again. Fortunately I wear contact lenses so I blame the puffy red eyes on them lol.

I have had a meeting today to further discuss my job change (within the same company) and I have been given an option of jobs that I would like to undertake, so I have had some positives today and now I am quite looking forward to the change. I also realise I am extremly lucky to get a choice of roles.

I know I am repeating myself but thank you.

Hi again

Really glad to help, I must admit to having to chuck a few pairs of contacts away myself, (weekly disposables) in the tearful days, still have a few tears at times but thats life. It will get better and its also OK to repeat yourself. I know we cant physically reach out to you right now but we want to and if our words can help then post, post, post. Youre very precious to those that love you.

Love
lily

Marie

I don't know who told you to carry on paying just one creditor, but I feel there must be some misunderstanding. You either pay none of the creditors or you pay them all something in proportion to their debts. I don't mind which, but there must be no singling out of creditors in the time leading up to a creditors meeting.

Thanks Melanie I will send you the e mail I received.

I am just so relieved. 'From the horses mouth' and all that. It is amazing how much better that makes you feel.

I don't mean you look like, or are a horse by the way!
