Hi Andy Davie, you asked me to let the forum know how my creditors voted at my meeting.
I have just received the paperwork today. I am astonished that out of 9 creditors only 4 bothered to vote.
My biggest creditor was Lloyds TSB, I owed them 10,500 and they didnt vote!!!!
The 4 that did vote where the ones I didnt owe that much to, but those 4 voted yes so on the day 100% yes.
Max Recovery voting for Additions catalogue and Capital one accepted and HSBC and Marbles both voted yes.

My caseworker told me that Creditors can't keep up with the IVA flooding into their offices and have to be selective in consideration.

I have also heard that if the offer is low then they would vote against it[}:)] But would otherwise not vote?

A great result.

Thanks. I suppose 10,500 is a fortune to me but not to a bank like Lloyds TSB. They will get a decent return anyway.
I did not realise that so many Iva's where flooding in to banks. It is a good job Im not with the other arm of Lloyds(black horse)I have heard they are really against voting yes and tend to just reject.

Marsha

I had tsb as our largest creditor with 20,000 plus and they didnt vote either, thank heavens they didnt, they would have stopped the iva as they held a third of the vote.
