So my first payment of £156 will be made on the 30th April and I have never been so pleased/or looked forward to paying something so much as this.
I know when you are waiting for it all to happen it seems daunting, and you doubt everything, but take heart, and try not to worry, (particularly you David and J [;)])It works out and life becomes clearer very quickly.
Good luck to all waiting for their upcoming meetings we will see you on the other side.[:)]

I agree Melanie...it surprised me too. Not sure if it has any bearing, but they were the only one who contacted me prior to my IVA decision, and asked me to consider making an arrangement with them. They offered to freeze interest and close the account and accept £25 a month.
On the face of it a very generous offer, but as I told them, had they been the only creditor I would of course accept, but as they were not, I could not single them out.
At the end of the day, who knows?[?]

Brilliant Carole, certainly offers hope of someone in a similar position with a low dividend. I'm sure if mattered you IP could have sorted Monument.
Actually I guess there may come a time that you don't want your divident too high as they can suggest a DMP would pay it all in a reasonable timeframe.

The dividend is not the yardstick it is affordability, best interests of the debtor and achievable. Whatever the figure comes out at.

Yes indeed David.
My only reason for including the dividend and the payment was to offer some encouragement to others, who may also have a low disposable income and may be doubting the outcome of their meetings. Also, to illustrate to others, still looking for a solution that the guidelines for an IVA, often quoted in general information regarding IVA's are not as ridged as they seem, and that it is indeed an individual arrangement and as you point out; 'The dividend is not the yardstick it is affordability, best interests of the debtor and achievable. Whatever the figure comes out at.'
