Nickjohn - there is no such thing as a precedence. It is either or.

Well done to you newtoallthis. Which firm are you with?

Quote "At the present time they have told me to keep hold of the funds until PPI issues and whether they are to be paid across have been solved."

What problems are there to solve Mel has said on more than one occasion that PPI money is an asset of the IVA and must be paid over to the creditors...

Wonder if there is something going on with all of this that we don't know about. Strange that she should say so many times the money has to be paid in yet yours you get to keep. Are you in a 2008 protocol compliant IVA?

I haven't said they said I can keep it....they are fully aware of what I have received so far but have just said issues are ongoing and they will advise further.

Sorry, thought it was obvious, apparently not, "she" refers to Mel.

Just think it's more respectful to actually name the person by their given name.

As the thread which contained the offending word had been in a sequence of threads all discussing the same topic I don't feel I was being dis respectful.

Hi Lillyray, I must admit I am a little bit confused now, you picked me up on my grammar, fair enough, I was replying to a previous post and the other poster understood my meaning.

The gist of my post was that the other poster has received a large sum of money and her IP does not want it passing on but instead wants her to keep it, this would appear to be contrary to what her Ip has said openly on this forum on previous occasions.
I was only questioning why this would be so.

The question is posted on this thread as the topic which raised the question was on this thread. As the posters IP is Mel that is why I mentioned her, had it been any other IP I would have mentioned them instead.

As you say the forum is an excellent opportunity for debate and threads start of as one thing and end up as another. Like on this occasion, I start of questioning a PPI issue and end up defending why I have posted on this thread.. :-))

Nick John....and as I have said on a previous post.....Mel does not want me to keep it but according to a couple of her staff because I am still waiting for other claims to be confirmed I am to hold onto it until issues are sorted. Do I need to keep repeating that I AM NOT BEING TOLD TO KEEP IT!!!
