Hi all! my IVA was finished at the end of November where an offer was accepted by my creditors, been with Grant Thornton's for just over 4 years and they have been fantastic!!! . now I'm waiting for my final letter to comfirm all is over and I'm getting ready to forward this on to the credit agencies (hope im right with this so far). Does anyone know what I'm ment to write in the letter to them, or is there a standard letter?
You just need to check if there are any defaults on your file after the date of IVA acceptance, if so then write to the data controller for the creditors concerned and tell them to remove those defaults.
GT will inform the agencies that the IVA has been completed.

Sad - welcome to the forum - Once you have a completetion certificate - wait a few weeks to obtain all your 3 credit files - ONLY if there are defaults dated after the start of your IVA - do you then need to send copies to the the Data controllers (of each company).
Accounts should be marked settled /partially settled
Both your IVA and any defaults before the IVA start dates will remain for 6 years
