Just wanted to say that I've had my date through for the meeting to doscuss my F&F offer to my creditors, it's on the 21st November so fingers crossed they will accept.

My question is what happens once they've agreed (if they agree!) will my supervisor sort out the paperwork etc or do I need to do anything else? Also do I have to wait the full 6 years from starting my IVA to get my debit card back? I know I don't want any credit again but I miss the ease of a debit card!

Thanks for all advice on this website wouldn;t have known that I could offer a F&F without the people on this forum.

Rachael

Hi rachael

Good luck for the 21st. Your supervisor is the best one to ask they will advise you.

I have my debit card now, you can have a debit card but not a credit card, but not sure about the six years with the full and final so wait for a technical expert. It depends on the bank account that you have but the coop cashminder comes with visa electron, there is the natwest step which has the solo card as well. There is also the prepaid cards that you can load and use the same as a debit card.

good luck for the 21st Rachael.
How long did it take you to get a meeting date?

Your credit will be shot for 6 years from the start of the IVA but you should be able to get a debit card. It depends on the account. I've got 2!! plus there's the prepaid ones.

Hope it goes well. Your Supervisor should be able to do the paperwork within days of creditors agreeing. Presumably you have either put him in funds or that you will do when it is accepted.

You should be able to get a debit card - but again depends on who you bank with.

As previously stated I hope it all goes well.
