There's always Learn Direct as well - don't know what their fees are.
You could aim for the top and do an Open University course! My daughter tells me they charge by the module!

Good luck with finding a course FD...and good luck with the swotting! I'm sure you'll be a mathematical genius in no time! [:D] rather you than me though - I have to admit that maths wasn't one of my favourite subjects at school...anyway take care and all the best for your future career [:)] xx
Hi FD, I am also doing a distance learning course whilst in IVA and have had an allowance agreed with my IP. Sometimes if you look at the right time Learn direct have some offers on. I also look at ebay for any study books as you can pick up some baragains.
Hope this helps.

learn direct do offer an equivalent to the maths gcse but after an initial assessment says i dont fit the criteria as my level of knowledge was above a course they can offer.
anyway i still want to pursue the gcse as it will be good for me for now i think ill just need to stick to the books for revision.
apparently my employer offers a scheme where they can pay for a further education course if it intergrates with your job but to be honest im not happy with them assessing me and delving into my finances etc given the current situation. anyway i should be able to do my gcse to start and take it from there.
