If any of you posters get any correspondence from MBNA following them being made aware of you proposing an IVA please forward to me as I am collecting data about their commercial practices.

David, sorry I've only just seen this post you made some time ago and wondered if I might have received something you were looking for.
MBNA are aware that I am applying for an IVA and just before xmas I received what looked like a valentines card in a pink envelope, hand written on the front to myself. I must admit on opening it, I was surprised at it's contents.
Inside was a card stating how much I owed and to contact the number at the bottom of the card. Unfortunately I didn't keep it but thought it strange at the time.

I suppose there is nothing to stop them sending out reminders in pink envelopes, I have seen postcards like this of sheep grazing on a peaceful hillock in the past.

David I review personally all of the mail into my office, so will look out for any correspondence of this nature for you.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

I hate it when they do things like that. You think it's something nice (I mean sheep grazing - what harm can that do?), and then it's a nasty shock when you open the envelope. I do wish they wouldn't do that.
